Nathan Hughes
Back in 2003 Nathan was coerced to audition, due to lack of males, for the IMT production of Copocabana. Although he joined the cast reluctantly, the theatre bug got him! He recalls watching Michelle Lange singing effortlessly on stage and being in awe of her performance so is thrilled to be singing a duet with her in Mamma Mia!
Nathan has taught in Invercargill schools for the past 10 years and very much enjoys his current role as Deputy Principal at St Johns Girls’ School. Until recently he co-owned a photography company and enjoys any creative activities.
His theatre credits include playing Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Freddy in My Fair Lady and conservative journalist Cliff in Cabaret.
